Early Care Area

It consists of responding to the transitory or permanent needs of girls and boys from newborn to 3 years of age in order to prevent a specific problem, avoid potential damage and develop skills that enhance their neuromotor development.


Evaluates developmental milestones, gross and fine motor skills, posture, muscle tone, primitive reflexes, and abnormal signs; performs therapeutic interventions to promote neuromotor development.

Evaluates cognitive, communication and social interaction skills and performs interventions that favor basic skills for communication and cognitive development.

Performs interventions aimed at improving fine motor skills, gross motor skills, and motor planning. It also helps with problems with self-regulation, sensory processing, and self-care activities.
