Over twenty-four years, we have developed projects focused on the detection, prevention and care of disability.
We are a civil association with more than 24 years of experience focused on comprehensively addressing the needs of minors with disabilities, educational needs special or delayed development, on the coast of Oaxaca, giving them the opportunity to develop capacities that allow them to integrate socially and at school, as well as to have better expectations of Personal development.
Through our service areas and programs, we dedicate our best efforts to improve the quality of life of minors and their families.
Founded in 1995 at the initiative of a group of volunteers and parents with children who had a disability, A New Dawn was born in Pro del Discapacitado, A.C.
In its beginnings, the association carried out the first population census with Disability, in order to prepare the feasibility study that made possible the foundation of the School of Special Education of Santa Cruz Huatulco, which is currently the Center of Attention Multiple (CAM) 17.
In 1997, thanks to the support of the Ba’Asolay Foundation, it began operating in La Crucecita, Bahías de Huatulco, the Center for Early Assessment and Stimulation. Before the demand of the target population, this evolved in the Child Care Center (CAI) Un Nuevo Amanecer, expanding your coverage to provide comprehensive care services.
